Rick Borry – Managing Director – Renewable Energy

Rick Borry serves as the Managing Director of Renewable Energy for Priority Power. Rick is the Founder and Principal of One World Solar. Prior to launching One World Solar, Rick was the Executive Director of Engineering and Development for Vivo Power and Chief Technology Officer for Principal Solar. Rick has experience across all stages of the utility-scale solar value chain spanning project development, engineering, construction, operations, finance, procurement, contracts, and deal structure. 

Rick has served as development portfolio leader for 38 sites in 9 U.S. States totaling 1,800 MWDC.  He has deep knowledge of solar generation development in Duke, SCE&G, Georgia Power, Gulf Power, Avista, Pacificorp, Tri-State, Xcel, IREA, SPP, and ERCOT. Rick holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkley, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University.
