Joe Loner

Joe Loner is the Chief Financial Officer of Priority Power. Joe brings over 15 years of finance experience and began his career at General Electric as part of its prestigious Financial Management Program, followed by roles of increasing responsibility at AES, TPG-backed Nexeo Solutions, Panda Power Funds, and was most recently at GridLiance, a Blackstone-owned startup independent transmission company where he was directly involved in its sale to NextEra Energy in 2021. As CFO, Joe collaborates with Priority’s senior management team and Board providing his insights into the strategic vision and tactical execution of Priority Power’s growth, profitability, and capital raising initiatives. He is charged with building and leading a world-class team accountable for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all financial activities in the organization. Joe is the winner of the “D” Magazine’s 2020 Outstanding FP&A award where he was recognized for his role in guiding GridLiance through the credit rating process for the first time and received industry-leading ratings. He graduated with honors from The University of Kansas earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Business Administration. He has also completed the Emerging Leaders Program at the University of Virginia – Darden Graduate School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) as recognized by the AICPA.
