Earle Pratt

A seasoned executive, Earle Pratt creates and expands franchise networks, enters international new markets, and raises growth capital through acquisition-led growth, management, and execution. In the Business Services, Education and EdTech, Franchising and Financial Services sectors, he has served as CEO, COO, and CFO. He specializes in multi-site operations, B2B and B2C sales, enterprise software development (particularly Learning Management and CRM systems), debt and equity fundraising, mergers and acquisitions (buying and selling), and stock buybacks. As a leader of private equity-backed companies (investors include The Carlyle Group and Camden Partners), Earle is experienced in international operations and has led companies with franchisees in more than 50 countries as a Managing Director. A former CEO of New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, the world's largest independent IT training company and the largest Microsoft training partner, Mr. Pratt managed over 300 locations across 50 countries. A major part of Mr. Pratt's career was as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Wall Street English, a company that taught English in 28 countries to more than 100,000 students annually. In addition, Earle worked for Sylvan Learning/Laureate Education leading deal teams that acquired Laureate's initial network of on-campus and online U.S. and international universities in Mexico, Spain, and Switzerland through Laureate Education. Mr. Pratt received his MBA from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and his B.A. Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Colgate University.
