Eric Kimmel - Senior Managing Director - Energy Marketplace

Eric Kimmel serves as the Managing Director of the Energy Marketplace for Priority Power. With 23 years of experience across the domestic energy space, Eric is an expert in analyzing markets and opportunities, portfolio construction and optimization, managing and hedging risk, and building and leading teams to aggressively achieve positive results. 

Prior to joining Priority Power, Eric’s career included working in senior roles for utilities, wholesale, and retail power merchants, as well as founding and running two energy hedge funds. Additionally, he spent seven years with Kottke Associates trading on the NYMEX, managing his own capital and becoming the highest paid-out trader in the firm’s history. Throughout his career, a focus on integrity and achieving success has helped him develop numerous high-level relationships across the industry. He has a passion for teamwork and working in a culture and environment that communicates effectively, works well under pressure, and strives to outperform internal and external objectives. Eric earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, with Honors, from the University of Maryland.
